Case reference 01Special-shaped confectionery tin
This representative manufacturing reference shows how a distinctive silhouette, hinged opening and continuous printed surface can turn confectionery packaging into a reusable keepsake.
Client identity is not disclosed. Artwork shown belongs to its respective owner and is presented only as a manufacturing reference.
For character-led confectionery and family gifting, a standard rectangle would carry the artwork—but it would not become part of the story. The house profile gives the pack an immediate identity before a shopper reads a single word.
“The useful question is not only what fits inside. It is what makes someone want to pick up, open and keep the tin.”
A recognisable silhouette helps the pack work as a seasonal gift, display piece and reusable storage object.
The roof profile, hinge line and latch must work together so the special shape remains practical to open, fill and transport.

The shaped lid remains attached, while the open body provides an unobstructed filling space.

Artwork is planned across roof, walls and curved transitions rather than treated as separate flat panels.

Closed, rear and open views are checked together before artwork and production approval.
The asymmetric roofline creates shelf recognition while keeping a stable base for display and packing.
The opening hardware is positioned as part of the architecture, supporting repeated use without competing with the main graphic.
Important characters, marks and text stay clear of high-distortion transitions; secondary pattern can carry across the roof and side walls.
The filling method, inner bag or fitted insert should be confirmed before the sample so protection and presentation are designed together.
