A lift-off lid, hinged structure, window or special opening can change the experience. It must also tolerate packing, transport and repeated handling.

A restrained structure and reusable proportion can help the package remain useful after the mooncakes are gone, extending the brand beyond one season.
Project development
Gift presentation depends on engineering discipline.
The starting brief should include cake count, wrapped dimensions, proposed tray or insert, target outer size, quantity, artwork schedule and market. These inputs determine whether an existing tin can be adapted or a custom mold is justified.
The insert is not an afterthought. Dividers, formed trays and retaining components affect spacing, lid clearance and the way the product arrives after transport. Samples should be packed with representative mooncakes before final approval.
CMYK printing, metallic ink, matte and gloss surfaces, embossing and debossing can support a festival story without relying on excessive decoration. Artwork is checked against seams, corners, embossing areas and manufacturing tolerances.
Final price, tooling, sample timing, production schedule, inner packing and delivery are confirmed per project. No generic seasonal lead time or regulatory claim is used in place of a reviewed specification.

Can an existing tin mold be used for mooncake packaging?
Yes, if the cake count, wrapped dimensions and insert fit an available reference. Existing molds can reduce structural development, but the packed sample still needs to be tested.
Can Baoyue provide an insert or divider?
Custom inserts, dividers and retaining components can be reviewed. Material choice, food contact route and final fit must be confirmed for the project and destination market.
Can the lid be embossed or printed with seasonal artwork?
CMYK, metallic ink, matte or gloss finishes, embossing and debossing can be evaluated against the chosen geometry and artwork.
When should a mooncake tin project begin?
